AN83.70-D-0001-05S Retrofit Coolant Line







1 Mark coolant line (1) on both sides in front of the separation cuts (A and B).
2 Separate coolant lines (1) through separation cuts (A and B).
3 Deburr coolant lines (1.1 and 1.2) and remove chips.
4 Slide coolant hoses (2) approx. 20 cm onto coolant lines (1.2) and secure with clamps (3).

5 Feed coolant lines (1.1) on left side of vehicle from bottom to top and secure on threaded pins using nuts (4).







6 Slide clamps (6) over coolant lines (1.1).
7 Route coolant hoses (2) over axle carrier (5) and slide onto coolant lines (1.1).
Do not install coolant hoses (2) crosswise, note marking.

8 Secure coolant hoses (2) on coolant lines (1.1) with clamps (6).
9 Fasten coolant lines (1.2) on threaded pins with nuts (7).







10 Slide coolant hose return line (8) and coolant hose feed line (9) on heater (10) onto coolant lines (1.2) and secure with clamps (11) (see picture).
When installing the coolant hose return line (8), do not mix up with coolant hose feed line (9).







11 Slide coolant hose (12) onto rear coolant connection on engine and onto circulation pump (M13/4), then secure with clamps.
Only if the circulation pump (M13/4) was retrofitted.

12 Remove existing coolant hose from circulation pump (M13/4) to heater heat exchanger (13).
Only if a circulation pump (M13/4) was installed.

13 Slide coolant hose (14) onto circulation pump (M13/4) and coolant lines (1.1), then secure with clamps.
14 Slide coolant hose (15) onto coolant lines (1.1) and heater heat exchanger (13), the secure with clamps.
