AN83.70-D-0001-01S Retrofit Stationary Heater












1 Place heater (5) onto bracket (2) and tighten with screw/bolt (4).
2 Slide air intake hose (6) onto fitting on heater (5) and tighten with screw clamp (7).
3 Slide exhaust (8) with exhaust clamp (9) onto fitting on heater (5) and tighten with exhaust clamp (9) and screw/bolt (10).
4 Fit coolant hose feed line (11) and coolant hose return line (12) onto heater (5) and secure with clamps.
When installing the coolant hose feed line (11), do not mix it up with the coolant hose return line (12).







5 Tighten metering pump (M46/1) on bracket (2) with screw/bolt (13).
6 Fit fuel hose (15) onto fitting on heater (5) and metering pump (M46/1) and secure with clamps (14).
7 Fit fuel line (16) onto metering pump (M46/1).







8 Secure fuel line (16) on bracket (2) with cable tie (17).
9 Fit connector for 8-pin auxiliary water heater (N33/3x1) onto bracket (2).
10 Secure connector for 4-pin auxiliary water heater (N33/3x2) on bracket (2) with cable tie (18).
11 Install bracket (2) with heater (5) on welded-in brackets of longitudinal frame member and tighten with nuts .
12 Fit air intake hose on heater (5) into opening in longitudinal frame member.
Carry out after cavity preservation only.
The air intake hose on the heater (5) may only take in air from the longitudinal frame member, since taking in moisture and foreign objects would mean a shortened life of the heater (5).
