AR03.20-S-4351-02SE Tightening Procedure For Crankshaft Bearing Caps








1 Lubricate bolts (1 to 16) for crankshaft bearing cap (A, B, C, D) on thread and the bolt head contact surface with engine oil.
2 Tighten bolts (1 to 16) for crankshaft bearing cap (A, B, C, D) as per tightening procedure.

Observe tightening torque for bolts (1 to 16)

3 Tighten side bolts (1.1 to 8.1) for the crankshaft housing on crankshaft bearing cap (A, B, C, D) as per tightening procedure.

Observe tightening torque for bolts (1.1 to 8.1)

4 Check crankshaft through turning freewheeling; remove crankshaft bearing cap (A, B, C, D) if necessary and determine error.
