1 Use to measure thickness of brake disk; if less than wear limit, replace brake disk.
2 Measure lining thickness.
3 Check dust boot on top section of brake caliper (9) and brake hoses (10) for damage and replace if necessary.
4 Clean sliding plates, check and replace if necessary.
5.1 Check anti-rattle springs and replace if they exhibit damage or plastic deformation.

5.2 Replace anti-rattle springs.
