SI42.10-S-0012A Service Information Bulletin: Parts Identification of Parts Scope For Brake Pads in the Electronic Parts Catalog [EPC]






When replacing the brake pads, the screws of the brake caliper and the sensors (brake wear indicator) must always be replaced too.

The springs (anti-rattle springs) must always be replaced on Brembo brake calipers.

On Bosch brake calipers, the springs must be checked for cracks and plastic deformation and only replaced if there is visible damage.

The EPC has footnotes filed in it for the brake pads with this information or parts kits are created.
