If status "terminal 15 ON" is activated, then the following indicator lamps come on permanently and after the engine starts "terminal 61 ON" and operational system:
^ ESP indicator lamp
^ ABS indicator lamp
If the Electronic Stability Program (Electronic-Stability-Program) (ESP) is active in driving mode, the traction warning indicator lamp flashes.
if the acceleration slip regulation (ASR) is deactivated via the ASR OFF button (N72/1s5) in driving mode, the traction warning indicator lamp lights up permanently.
If the ASR is deactivated via the ASR OFF button and the ESP is active, the traction warning indicator lamp flashes.
If a fault is present in the ESP, the ESP indicator lamp lights up permanently.
If a fault is present in the antilock brake system (ABS), the ABS indicator lamp lights up permanently.
If a fault is present in the ASR, Brake Assist (BAS) or, on vehicles with code (E07) starting-off aid, start-off assist (AAS), the BAS indicator lamp lights up permanently.

If the ESP is active in driving mode, the traction warning indicator lamp flashes.
If the ASR is deactivated in driving mode via the ASR OFF button, the traction warning indicator lamp comes on permanently.
If the ASR is deactivated via the ASR OFF button and the ESP is active, the traction warning indicator lamp flashes.
If a fault is present in the ESP, the ESP indicator lamp lights up permanently and via the display (A1p1) in the instrument cluster (A1) it is conveyed to the driver e.g., that he should visit the workshop due to an ESP fault.
If a fault is present in the ABS, the ABS indicator lamp lights up permanently and via the display in the instrument cluster it is conveyed to the driver e.g. that he should visit the workshop due to an ABS fault.
If a fault is present in the ASR, the BAS or AAS on vehicles with code (E07) Starting-off aid, it is only conveyed to the driver via the display that he should visit the workshop due to a BAS fault.
