GF77.20-D-3003H Tilting/Sliding Roof Denormalization, Function

GF77.20-D-3003H Tilting/Sliding Roof Denormalization, Function

- with CODE (D27) Power glass tilting/sliding roof

Denormalized state

The position of the front tilting/sliding roof (M12) is not known. It is possible to move in 2 directions, however, only via the "Close front tilting/sliding roof ", "Open sliding roof" or "Open pop-up roof" which are activated by the tilting/sliding roof control button (N70s1). To protect the mechanical end stop, the "Open sliding roof" position, the front tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated only for t = M12m10.25 s in the "Open sliding roof" direction when the sliding roof control button is pulled toward the front up to the pressure point. Then the front tilting/ sliding roof motor is no longer actuated.M12m1

Only when the tilting/sliding roof control button is actuated again in the "Open sliding roof" direction by pulling the tilting/sliding roof control button toward the rear up to the pressure point, the front tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated again for only t = 0.25 s.

Denormalization

The front tilting/sliding roof motor is denormalized and deactivated in the following cases:
- When the battery is disconnected/connected (G1).
- The front tilting/sliding roof exceeds the defined motion range of 25 motor rotations.
- The position signal from the front tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12b1) or front tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12b2) is missing for t > 160 ms in spite of reversal of the front tilting/ sliding roof.
- The direction of rotation signal does not coincide with the defined direction of operation of the front tilting/sliding roof.
- The tilting/sliding roof control button is actuated for longer than t = 25 s.

Denormalization is not performed in the following cases:
- If the Hall sensor supply is short-circuited as long as the reset for the DBE control unit (N70) is not present. Actuation of the front tilting/sliding roof motor is deactivated.
- If voltage is too low or too high as long as the DBE control unit is not reset. Actuation of the front tilting/sliding roof motor is deactivated.
- If circuit 15X is actuated.
