GF77.20-D-3000H Tilting/Sliding Roof Lock-Up Recognition, Function
GF77.20-D-3000H Tilting/Sliding Roof Lock-up Recognition, Function
- with CODE (D27) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
Function requirements:
- Circuit 30
- Circuit 15R ON
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
Overvoltage is present when voltage > 16.5 V. Undervoltage is present when voltage < 9 V.
The DBE control unit (N70) receives the voltage pulses from the front tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12b1) and front tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12b2) located on the front tilting/sliding roof motor (M12m1) and evaluates them for position measurement.
If the Hall sensor pulse signals are missing, in spite of actuation of the front tilting/sliding roof motor, the direction is reversed, e.g. the front tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated in the opposite direction. After t = 160 ms, the front tilting/sliding roof motor is switched off. The front tilting/sliding roof (M12) is denormalized. A mechanical thermal protection switch protects against overload on the front tilting/sliding roof motor. If the front tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor pulse signals are missing, the front tilting/sliding roof can be closed in time increments of t = 160 ms or with the emergency crank.
Emergency operation
If the front tilting/sliding roof is actuated with the emergency operation, position is not sensed. It is then necessary to "normalize" the front tilting/sliding roof.
