GF80.45-D-2003H Convenience Closing/Opening With Transmitter Key, Function

- with CODE (FZ8) Convenience opening / closing with IR remote control

Convenience opening
The following function requirements must be met:
- All doors are unlocked (selective or global).
- The transmitter key with integrated infrared (IR) signal is aimed at the driver door IR receiver unit in the door handle.
- The "Unlock" button on transmitter key is pressed for longer than 1 s.

The following components are actuated:
- Driver door power window motor
- Front passenger door power window motor
- Sliding/tilting roof
- Rear sliding/tilting sunroof unit
- Power vent windows in passenger compartment

Convenience closing
The following function requirements must be met:
- All doors are closed.
- Vehicle completely locked.
- The transmitter key with integrated infrared (IR) signal is aimed at the driver door IR receiver unit in the door handle.
- The "Lock" button on transmitter key is pressed for longer than 1 s.

The following components are actuated:
- Driver door power window motor
- Front passenger door power window motor
- Sliding/tilting roof
- Rear sliding/tilting sunroof unit
- Power vent windows in passenger compartment

Comfort closing is terminated under the following prerequisites:
- All actuators are completely closed.
- The "Lock" button on the remote control key is released.
- The transmitter key with integrated infrared (IR) signal is no longer aimed at the driver door IR receiver unit in the door handle.

If the actuators are not yet completely closed after completing convenience closing, they remain at the position reached at that time.
If a door is opened during convenience closing, the comfort closing function is interrupted.

The actuators are opened and closed only as long as the IR signal is recognized.
