GF80.20-D-4010HA Transmitting Remote Control Signal, Function

Illustrated with 3 buttons (model 906.6/7), with code (T55) Electrical actuation for right sliding door or with code (T56) Electrical actuation for left sliding door
1 "Lock" transmitter button
2 "Unlock" transmitter button
3 Transmitter button "Unlock sliding door, rear-end door and open/close sliding door"
4 Battery and function indicator lamp
5 Mechanical key
6 Snap fasteners

The transmitter key (A8/1) transmits a radio signal when the transmit button is actuated. The signal contains a code for verifying access authorization and a command to execute a function. Radio signal transmission has a greater range.

On vehicles with code (FZ8) Comfort opening/closing with infrared (IR) remote control, an infrared signal is transmitted in addition. Here it is important to aim the infrared transmitter integrated into the tip of the transmitter key at the left front IR receiver (A26/1) in the door handle.
