Fault message

The procedure for the function "display fault memory" is described in the following. The following function requirements must be met:
- Vehicle is stationary
- Circuit 15 ON

A fault symbol in the display of the tachograph (A56) indicates that a fault message has been output.

32d Menu button

Briefly pressing the Menu button on the tachograph changes the tachograph display from the basic display to the initial "Set time" display.
Briefly pressing the Menu button on the tachograph again changes the tachograph display from the initial "Set time" display to the fault memory display.
Long actuation of the Menu button changes the tachograph display back to the basic display.

The time display on the tachograph display shows the time at which the fault began.
The Plus button indicates that several fault codes have been stored.
The fault symbol indicates the current fault code or, with several fault, the first fault code. The meaning of each fault code is listed in the operator's manual.

The tachograph display switches back to the basic display following long actuation of the Menu button or automatically after 20 s.
