Menu sequence, adjusting the time

The procedure for the function "adjusting time" is described in the following. The following function requirements must be met:
- Vehicle is stationary
- Circuit 15 ON
- No tachograph disk(s) inserted in tachograph (A56)
Briefly pressing the Menu button on the tachograph changes the tachograph display from the basic display to the "Set time" display.
Longer actuation of the Menu button changes the tachograph display back to the basic display.

By briefly pressing the Menu button on the tachograph, it is possible to jump to the initial "Set time" display on the tachograph display.
Minute counter activated

Pressing the Plus button and Minus button simultaneously on the tachograph activates the minute counter in the time display on the tachograph (the minutes flash).

Pressing and holding down the Plus button on the tachograph increases the minutes. Pressing and holding down the Minus button on the tachograph decreases the minutes. Releasing the respective button sets the minutes in the time display on the tachograph.

Briefly pressing the Menu button on the tachograph activates the hour counter on the tachograph display (the hours flash).

Pressing and holding down the Plus button on the tachograph increases the hours. Pressing and holding down the Minus button on the tachograph decreases the hours. Releasing the respective button sets the hours in the time display on the tachograph.
The date on the tachograph display is changed automatically as the time setting passes through 00:00 (midnight).

Long actuation of the Menu button on the tachograph stores the selected time. The basic display appears on the tachograph at the same time.

If the time is set with the tachograph disk(s) inserted, the symbol for "Tachograph disk driver 1" and the symbol for "Tachograph disk driver 2" as well as the fault symbol will be shown on the tachograph display and the colon in the time display will flash after the time is stored. The time is adjusted and stored only after the tachograph disk(s) is/are removed.
