General
The interior central locking button consists of a rocker panel with integrated LED. 2 separate settings are possible with the inside central locking button.
These are:
- Control 1
Global locking or unlocking (entire vehicle)

- Control 2
Locking or unlocking load compartment

The signals from the inside central locking button are relayed by the OBF control unit to EIS control unit (N73). The EIS control unit sends the signals to the Control Area Network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B). The rear SAM control unit (N10) and the driver door control unit (N69/1) then actuate the corresponding doors.
The LED is assigned to control 2. The status of the doors is indicated via this LED.

The following assignments are valid for the LED:
- LED lights up All doors in load compartment are closed and locked.
- LED not illuminated. At least one door is not locked or open.

Actuation of LED depends on status circuit 15 R.

The door status for the entire vehicle is not indicated.

The inside central locking button has the following switch positions and assignments:
- Neutral position
This position is always set as long as no actuation is performed.

- Toggle switch up
Locking or unlocking entire vehicle (global)

- Toggle switch down
Locking or unlocking load compartment

The following function requirements must be met:
- "Circuit 15C ON"
- The vehicle is opened with the transmitter key (A8/1) and not yet lock with the relocking function

Each time the inside central locking button is pressed, the previous function is inverted.

Model 906.1/2 is not equipped with a toggle in the inside central locking button. Only the locking and unlocking function for the entire vehicle (global) is available.
