GF80.50-D-4005H Acoustic Alarm, Function
- with CODE (FZ5) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW])
- with CODE (FZ4) Anti-theft alarm system with interior protection and towing sensor
When the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) actuates an alarm, the DBE control unit transmits the message "EDW_ALARM_ON (ATA alarm on)" to the Controller Area Network bus, class B (interior) (CAN B).
The SAM control unit reads this message and then actuates the signaling horn intermittently (2 Hz ± 0.2 Hz) for t = 25 s (from 0 to 60 s in 5-s increments, parameterizable).
Termination of alarm by ATA system
The alarm is interrupted by actuating the "Unlock" transmitter button on the transmitter key, simultaneously the ATA system is deactivated; this is indicated by the turn signals flashing once and by the LED in the inside central locking button going out.
The message "Unlock" from the EIS control unit is read in by the DBE control unit via CAN B.
The message "EDW_ST (ATA status) transmits the OCP control unit to the BF control unit via CAN B.
