GF80.50-D-3025H Switch Off Interior Protection, Function

GF80.50-D-3025H Switch Off Interior Protection, Function

- with CODE (FZ4) Anti-theft alarm system with interior protection and towing sensor
- with CODE (FY1) ATA 2 with interior protection, towing sensor and battery-operated horn

Function requirements:
- "Circuit 15 OFF" is transmitted by the EIS control unit (N73) via Control Area Network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).
- Press interior protection button (B44s1) for longer than t = 200 ms.

The interior protection (IRS) can be deactivated by actuating the interior protection button in the front interior protection sensor (B44) with integrated inclination sensor. The front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor reads in the signals from the interior protection button and relays the signals to the OCP control unit (N70).

The OPC control unit reads in the signal "Deactivate interior protection" and no longer evaluates the signals from the following sensors:
- Front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor, via discrete line.
- Center interior protection sensor (B44/1), on model 906.6/7, via front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor.
- Rear interior protection sensor (B44/2), on model 906.6/7, via front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor.

Deactivation of the IRS indicated by illumination of the light emitting diode (LED) in the interior protection button for t = 5 s. Deactivation of the IRS is active until the interior protection button is reactuated or the next time the status of circuit 15 changes.

The inclination sensor in the interior protection sensor, front remains active, i.e. evaluation of the towing sensor is still accomplished.

If the DBE control unit recognizes that the interior protection sensor button is actuated for longer than t = 20 s via the front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor, the signal is ignored and an error is stored. An actuation signal is not issued directly nor sent to CAN-B.
When the interior protection switch is actuated again, the DBE control unit must previously recognize the non-actuated state of the interior protection switch for t > 1 s via the front interior protection sensor with integrated inclination sensor.
