Location
The driver door control panel is located on the driver's door.
Task
The left front power window button, right front power window button, left vent window button and right vent window button in the driver door control panel transmit the desired adjustment request to the driver door control unit (N69/1) for actuation of the left front side window or the SAM control unit (N10) for actuation of the right front side window or for actuation of the left vent window and right vent window, which relays this information via the controller area network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).
Design
The left front power window button and right front power window button in the driver door control panel (S47) are designed as buttons with 5 switching positions and one park position.The left vent window button and right vent window button in the driver door control panel are designed as buttons with 3 switching positions and one park position.
Function
The switch positions of the left front power window button, the right front power window button, the left vent window button and the right vent window button in the driver door control panel (S47) are voltage-coded via resistors.The coded voltages are read in by the driver door control unit (N69/1)
Mechanical switch positions for left front power window button and right front power window button:
- Press stage 1 (manual opening)
- Press stage 2 (automatic opening)
- No actuation (park position)
- Pull stage 1 (manual closing)
- Pull stage 2 (automatic closing)

- Press stage 1 (manual opening)
- Press stage 2 (automatic opening)
- No actuation (park position)
