GF77.20-D-2040H Rear Sliding Roof Unit Convenience Opening, Function
GF77.20-D-2040H Rear Sliding Roof Unit Convenience Opening, Function
- with CODE (D24) Power tilting/sliding roof, passenger compartment
Function requirements:
- Circuit 15C OFF
- All doors closed, status "unlocked"
- Press and hold down "Unlock" button on transmitter key for longer than t = 1 s
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
Overvoltage is present when voltage > 16.5 V. Undervoltage is present when voltage < 9 V.
On vehicles with code (FZ8) Convenience opening/closing with IR remote control the DBE control unit (N70) receives the message "KB_SDV (open rear tilting/sliding roof (M12/1))" via the Controller Area Network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN B) from the EIS control module (N73) and then actuates the rear tilting/sliding roof motor (M12/1m1).
The front tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated in the direction of rotation "Open rear tilting/sliding roof" as long as the "Unlock" button on the transmitter key is pressed for t > 1 s and held down. The "Convenience opening" function of the rear tilting/sliding roof is accomplished for no longer than t = 25 s.
The "Convenience opening" function of the rear tilting/sliding roof is interrupted under the following conditions:
- The DBE control unit does no longer receive the message "KB_SDV (open rear tilting/sliding roof )" via the CAN B bus.
- The rear tilting/sliding roof reaches the end position.
- The function prerequisites are no longer fulfilled
- A door is opened.
The "Convenience opening" feature can only be actuated from the immediate vicinity with the infrared remote control in the transmitter key for the driver door. The sliding roof is in the closed position at the front stop and in the end position at the rear stop. In the closed position, the tilting roof is located at the front stop, in the tilting position (ventilation position) it is located at a defined position between the front and rear stops. The rear tilting/sliding roof is equipped with an excess force limiter and an obstruction sensor.
Also the side windows in the driver and passenger door as well as the electric vent windows in rear, with code (W32) Electric vent windows in rear in passenger compartment are opened.
Lock-up
After lock-up is recognized, the rear tilting/sliding roof reverses directions, e.g. the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated in the opposite direction and is deactivated after t = 160 ms.
Emergency operation
The position is not sensed when the rear tilting/sliding roof is actuated with the emergency operation. It is then necessary to "normalize" the rear tilting/sliding roof.
Roller sun blind, function
The roller sun blind can be moved toward the front or rear using the handle mounted on the roller sun blind. The roller sun blind remains in the corresponding position. The roller sun blind is automatically rolled up.
