GF72.29-D-4018H Shaft Coupling Switch, Component Description

GF72.29-D-4018H Shaft Coupling Switch, Component Description

- with CODE (T55) Electrical actuation for right sliding door
- with CODE (T56) Electrical actuation for left sliding door

S192/1 Right sliding door shaft coupling switch
S192/2 Left sliding door shaft coupling switch

Location

The right sliding door shaft coupling switch is located on the front of the right electric load compartment sliding door (E-LST) in the vicinity of the door handle.

The left sliding door shaft coupling switch is located on the front of the left E-LST in the vicinity of the door handle.

Task

The left and right shaft coupling switch have the purpose to monitor the status of the mechanical couplings of the E-LST.

The status is signaled discretely to the right sliding door control unit (N69/6) or left sliding door control unit (N69/7).

When the right sliding door shaft coupling switch or the left sliding door shaft coupling switch (A8/1) is activated mechanically (manually), the left sliding door drive (M73/1) or right sliding door drive (M73/2) is decoupled from the E-LST. This makes it easier to move the corresponding E-LST in the event of a drive malfunction.
