GF83.10-D-2010HT Rear Heater Ventilation Function
- with CODE (H13) Additional heat exchanger in load compartment
- with CODE (HH9) Regulated air conditioning (Tempmatic)
47 Intake air duct
48 Outlet air duct
A32/1 Rear heater/air conditioner air recirculation unit
S98 AAC [KLA] control and operating unit
S98s2 Rear blower control button (+)
S98s3 Rear blower control button (-)
S98s7 Rear air conditioning button
The rear heater ventilation can only be controlled using the rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit if it is switched on using the rear air conditioning button integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit.
Activation of the rear heater is indicated by illumination of the red light emitting diode (LED) in the rear air conditioning button.
The ventilation ensures circulation the recirculated air (air circulation) and also ensures that homogeneous and pleasant temperatures are provided in the passenger or load compartment of the vehicle.
Ventilation is only provided in air recirculation mode, no fresh air is drawn in.
The rear heater blower motor (A32/1m1) takes in the recirculated air from the passenger or load compartment of the vehicle via the intake air duct. The rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) are used to control the rate of circulation of the recirculated air with the help of the rear heater blower motor.
The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit controls the rear heater blower regulator (A32/1a1). The rear heater blower regulator regulates the voltage applied at the rear heater blower motor. The rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) can be used to adjust the output of the rear heater blower motor in the following stages via the rear heater blower regulator:
- Stage 1
- Stage 2
- Stage 3
The rear heater blower motor cannot be switched off using the rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-). The rear heater blower motor can only be switched off by switching off the rear heater using the rear air conditioning button.
The recirculated air is distributed only in the footwell area via the outlet air duct towards the outlet opening in the bottom left front side panel behind the driver seat.
