Location
The windshield wiper motor is located in the radiator tank below the vent grille.

Task
The windshield wiper motor is responsible for driving the front wipers.

The windshield wiper motor consists of an electric motor with gearing.

Function
The windshield wiper motor is a DC motor which runs at different speeds depending on energization of the brush pairs.
The windshield wiper motor is braked when reaching the park position. This is triggered by the cam switch closing, which in turn short-circuits the windshield wiper motor.
