GF82.30-D-0003H Wiper System (WSA), Function


Wiper system (WSA), windshield
The windshield WSA is ready for operation as from "circuit 15R ON".
To clean the windshield, the WSA has been installed as synchronous system.
The windshield WSA system is controlled by the SAM control unit (N10). The windshield WSA system is activated and deactivated using the combination switch (S144). The positions of the combination switch are read in by the MRM control unit (N80) and forwarded over the Controller Area Network bus Class B (interior) (CAN-B) to the SAM control unit.

The rear window WSA is ready for operation as from "circuit 15R ON".
The rear window WSA is controlled by the SAM control unit. The rear window WSA system is activated and deactivated using the rear wiper switch (S144s5) integrated in the combination switch. The positions of the rear wiper switch are read in by the MRM control unit and forwarded over CAN-B to the SAM control unit.
