GF67.29-D-2005HF Low Voltage Cutout, Function
- with CODE (F49) Heated windshield
Function requirements:
- Heated windshield activated (HFS)
- Circuit 61 ON
If the voltage is too low (U < 10,5 V) before the HFS system is activated, the HFS system is not activated. This is indicated by a LED flashing in the windshield heater button (N72/1s4).
The UCP control unit (N72/1) monitors the vehicle electrical system of the HFS system.
If the voltage is too low (U < 10,5 V) for t ≤ 5 s, the HFS system is temporarily deactivated. The UCP control unit cancels the message "OBF_A1 FSB_HZG_EIN (HFS EIN)" and continues to actuate the LED in the windshield heater button for t = 30 s.
If the restart voltage (U > 11 V) is again present within a time of t = 30 s, the UCP control unit transmits the message "OBF_A1 FSB_HZG_EIN (HFS EIN)" via the controller area network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B) and the HFS system is reactivated. The LED in the windshield heater button continues to illuminate.
Otherwise the message "OBF_A1 FSB_HZG_EIN (HFS EIN)" remains canceled, the LED in the windshield heater button flashes for t = 5 s and then goes out.
