M10/1 Driver door power window motor

Location

The driver door power window motor and front passenger door power window motor are located in the left and right front doors behind the paneling.

Function

The driver door power window motor and front passenger door power window motor are DC motors which can turn clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the polarity of the armature voltage. Both are protected against overheating by a temperature protection switch. They are equipped with 2 Hall sensors for sensing the position of the power window motor.

The driver door control unit (N69/1) overtakes actuation of the driver door power window motor and evaluation of the Hall sensor signals.The SAM control unit (N10) overtakes actuation of the passenger door power window motor and evaluation the Hall sensor signals.
