GF72.29-D-3009H Power Window Automatic Lowering, Function

Function requirements:
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- Circuit 15 ON or circuit 15R ON

Interruption of "Automatic lowering" function:
- Function requirements are not satisfied
- Blockage detection
- Recognition of switch actuation in opposite direction
- Another switch position after park position is detected
- Zero point tolerance exceeded
- Short circuit or voltage interruption

Driver-side control point

The window in the driver and front passenger door can be opened automatically via the left front power window button (S47s1) and right front power window button (S47s2) in the driver door control panel (S47). For this purpose, momentarily actuate left front power window button or right front power window button beyond the catch point. The "Automatic lowering" signal is read in by the driver door control unit (N69/1), which directly actuates the driver door power window motor (M10/1).

The request for the front passenger door power window motor (M10/2) is transmitted to the SAM control unit (N10), which then actuates the passenger power window motor.

Front passenger control point

The window on the front passenger side can only be opened via the front passenger side power window switch (S21/2). For this purpose, it is necessary to actuate the front passenger power window switch momentarily beyond the catch point. The opening request is read in by the SAM control unit, which directly actuates the front passenger door power window motor.

The window can be stopped when a random switch is actuated (short momentary actuation).

Following "Circuit 15R OFF", the windows can still be opened and closed after the doors are closed.
