GF72.29-D-3005H Power Windows Comfort Closing, Function

- with CODE (FZ8) Convenience opening/closing with IR remote control

Function requirements:
- Valid identification code received via infrared (IR)
- Circuit 15 OFF and circuit 15R OFF
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (central locking locked)
The "Convenience closing" function is performed by the IR remote control or the air recirculation mode button (S98s6) for the air conditioning system.

Termination of "convenience closing" function
- Lockup recognized
- The request is no longer received via the controller area network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).
- The function requirements are no longer fulfilled.
- No valid IR pulse received

Function

Press and hold transmitter button "Lock" on transmitter key (A8/1) and aim transmitter key at driver door IR receiver (A26/1). The actuation request is transmitted to the driver door control unit (N69/1) by the driver door IR receiver. The "Closing" information is relayed to the SAM control unit (N10) via CAN-B. The driver door power window motor (M10/1) is actuated by the driver door control unit and the front passenger power window motor (M10/2) by the SAM control unit.

On vehicles with code (W32) Rear power vent windows in passenger compartment, the vent windows are closed with the aid of the "Convenience closing" function.
