1 Remove oil guide ring (19).
2 Remove circlip (1).
3 Press off constant mesh gear (2) using drift.

4 Press off 5th gear idler gear (15) together with synchronizer unit, 6th gear idler gear (4) and 3rd gear fixed gear (3).

Do not damage the shoulder on the countershaft (arrow) when pressing out. The countershaft must be replaced if the shoulder is damaged.





5 Remove 3rd gear fixed gear (3), 6th gear idler gear (4) and 6th gear needle roller bearing (5).
6 Remove bearing sleeve (6) and synchronizer ring (7).





7 Remove sliding sleeve (8) and thrust pieces (9).
8 Remove synchronizer body (10) and synchronizer ring (11).
9 Remove cone ring (12), friction ring (13) and shim (14).

Only transmission 711.685.

10 Remove 5th gear idler gear (15).





11 Remove 5th gear needle roller bearing (16).
12 Remove split roller bearing intermediate plate (18).
