- with CODE (N05) Power take-off countershaft (2c) without flange

- with CODE (N07) Power take-off countershaft (2b) with flange

Drift








1 Only with CODE (N07) Power take-off countershaft (2b) with flange: Heat new tapered roller bearing (21) to approx 80 °C and position on output shaft (4).





2 Assemble needle roller bearing (20), drive gear (16) and washer (18) on drive shaft (15).

The shoulder on the washer (18) must face towards the bushing (19).

3 Press on bushing (19) flush with drive shaft (15) using a suitable drift.

The collar on the bushing (19) must face towards the drive gear (16).

4 Press in cylindrical roller bearing (17) using drift.
5 Install drive shaft (15) with drive gear (16).

6 Install shift rod (13).
7 Install shift dog (12) and sliding sleeve (14).

The rounded down teeth of the sliding sleeve (14) must point upwards (towards the drive side).

8 Install spring (11).

9 Only with CODE (N07) Power take-off countershaft (2b) with flange: Press on new bearing race (10) up to the end stop using a drift.
10 Press in pin (9) up to the end stop.
11 Install washer (8).
12 Fit bearing together (7) and install.
13 Install intermediate gear (6) and washer (5).

The labeled flange of the intermediate gear (6) must point upwards (towards the output side)

14 Only with CODE (N07) Power take-off countershaft (2b) with flange: Install output shaft (4) and distance ring (3).
15 Coat sealing compound evenly on sealing surface of the rear section of the transmission housing.
16 Install housing cover (2),.
