1 Mount on wheel hub so that the probe of the dial indicator abuts the end face of the axle tube.
2 Check by firmly pushing and pulling on the wheel hub.

The wheel bearing play can be brought to the specified adjustment value by loosening or tightening the inner slotted nut. Only check the wheel bearing play when the outer slotted nut is tightened to the specified torque.

3 After correctly adjusting the wheel bearing play, tighten the outer slotted nut (1) to the specified torque and secure by bending over the locking plate (2).
