1 Remove plug (2).
2 Crank engine at crankshaft, until the oil drain screw (3) can be accessed through the opening on the transmission.

For transmission 722.686, crank crankshaft using counterholder.

3 Position drain plate (4) under the oil drain screw (3).
4 Remove oil drain screw (3) with ratchet-ring wrench and drain gear oil from torque converter.

Collect gear oil in a suitable container.

5 Remove oil drain screw (1) and drain gear oil from oil pan.

Collect gear oil in a suitable container

6 Tighten oil drain screw (1).

Replace sealing ring. Observe tightening torque for oil drain screw (1). Clean drain position using rags.

7 Remove drain plate (4).
8 Tighten oil drain screw (3) using ratchet-ring wrench

Replace sealing ring. Observe tightening torque for oil drain screw (3). Clean drain position using rags.
