AR40.10-D-1025-01H Eliminate Radial Runout

The tire radial runout must be max. 1.5 to 2.0 mm. On steel rims, by rotating the tire if necessary, a more favorable position of the two parts relative to each other can be reached, but only if with certainty there are no flats due to standing or braking.

Flat spots make themselves noticeable due to vibrations or knocking tire rolling noise and can be eliminated as follows:

1 Fill wheels to an air pressure of 4 bar and lay in a paint drying box at approx. 80 °C for 4 hours (do not stand the tires upright).
2 Allow the wheels to cool down.
3 Correct the air pressure.
4 Balance the wheels steady-state and match if necessary.
