AR46.20-S-0601-02S Replace Thrust Piece of Steering Gear





1 Unscrew adjustment screw (1).
2 Remove spring (2)
3 Remove thrust piece (3).
4 Clean seat of thrust piece (3) in steering gear.
5 Install new thrust piece (3).

Grease new thrust piece (3), use grease included in the package contents.

6 Install new spring (2).

Grease new spring (2), use grease included in the package contents.

7 Tighten adjustment screw (1) to block.

Do not exceed torque of 55 to 60 Nm.

8 Loosen adjustment screw (1) 1/8 revolution

The play between the thrust piece (3) and the gear rack must be checked after loosening the adjustment screw (1).
