Complaint:
After completing installation of code ED8 (preinstallation of parameterizable special module), the PSM cannot be activated.

After completing installation of code E57 (preinstallation of trailer hitch), the AAG (trailer connection unit) cannot be activated.

Cause:
CAN link missing

Remedy:
Plug connector X30/39 of preinstallation kit into CAN hub X30/24 at the front on the right A-pillar.

The cables branch off the cable set and can be connected after being exposed. Please use position 8 in the CAN hub.

When completing installation of SA code E57, the same procedure must be followed with the trailer connection unit (AAG).











Connector X30/38 should be plugged into CAN hub X30/24 at position 5.
