Overview of refrigerant lines
1 Expansion valve
2 Refrigerant line wiring harness (pressure and intake side)
3 Refrigerant line arc (pressure side)
4 Refrigerant line (pressure side)
5 Guide sleeves
6 Refrigerant line arc (intake side)
7 Flexible refrigerant line (intake side)
8 Flexible refrigerant line (pressure side)
9 Capacitor
A9 Refrigerant compressor






Prepare refrigerant lines for installation:
1 Mount refrigerant line arc (6) with guide sleeve (5) and sealing ring to the flexible refrigerant line (7) .
The component stop plugs must not be removed until just prior to the installation procedure. The sealing rings for the refrigerant lines must be coated with compressor oil before being fitted into place.

2 Mount refrigerant line arc (3) with sealing ring to the refrigerant line (4) .







Install refrigerant line:

3 Mount sealing rings for connection to the expansion valve (1) on the refrigerant line wiring harness (2).
4 Route refrigerant line wiring harness (2) in area of brake booster downwards along the firewall.
5 Using nuts (arrows), position refrigerant line wiring harness (2) on expansion valve (1) and on the threaded stud fitted ex-factory on the firewall.
6 Screw refrigerant line wiring harness (2) onto expansion valve (1) and the firewall .







7 Mount refrigerant line arcs (6) and the previously installed flexible refrigerant line (7) with guide sleeve (5) and sealing ring onto the refrigerant line wiring harness (2) .
8 Mount refrigerant line arcs (3) and the previously mounted refrigerant line (4) with sealing ring to the refrigerant line wiring harness (2) .
9 Position refrigerant line (4) on threaded stud installed ex-factory on longitudinal frame member using nuts (arrows) and bolt on .







10 Position refrigerant line (4) with sealing ring on the condenser connector (9) and bolt on .
11 Position flexible refrigerant line (8) with sealing ring on condenser connector (9) and bolt on .
12 Position flexible refrigerant lines (7, 8) with sealing rings onto refrigerant compressor (A9) and bolt on .
To mount the refrigerant lines (7, 8), use screws for stop plugs previously removed from the refrigerant compressor (A9). Position hexagon socket head screw of flexible refrigerant line (8) with washer (10).
