GF82.10-D-3013H Emergency Lamp Control, Function
The intention of the emergency lamp actuation is to avoid complete failure of the exterior lights (ABL) as the result of a malfunction in the interior CAN (CAN B) or the processor or of the SAM control unit (N10) or the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit (N28/1), with code (E43) Trailer hitch socket or with code (E40) Trailer socket 7-pin.
Function requirements:
- "Circuit. 15 ON"
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
Emergency lamp actuation
The following lamps are actuated for the emergency lamp function:
- Standing light (E1e3) in left lamp unit (E1), except code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Standing light (E2e3) in right lamp unit (E2), except code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Low beam (E1e2) in left lamp unit, except code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Low beam (E2e2) in right lamp unit, except code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Standing light (E1/6e3) in left XENON lamp unit (E1/6), with code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Standing light (E2/6e3) in right XENON lamp unit (E2/6), with code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with corner-illuminating fog lamp
- Low beam (E1/6e2) in left XENON lamp unit over the xenon control unit (E1/6n1), with code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with low beam
- Low beam (E2/6e2) in right XENON lamp unit over the xenon control unit (E2/6n1), with code (LG1) Bi-xenon headlamp with low beam
- Taillight (E3/6e2) in the left taillamp (E3/6), on model 906.111/113/131/133/135/153/155/211/213/231/233/ 235/253/255
- Taillight (E4/6e2) in the right taillamp (E4/6), on model 906.111/113/131/133/135/153/155/211/213/231/233/ 235/253/255
- Taillamp (E3e2) in left taillamp (E3), in model 906.611/613/631/633/635/637/653/655/657/711/713/731/ 733/735
- Taillamp (E4e2) in right taillamp (E4), in model 906.611/613/631/633/635/637/653/655/657/711/713/731/ 733/735
- Left license plate lamp (E19/1)
- Right license plate lamp (E19/2)
At the same time, in vehicles with code (E43) Trailer hitch socket or with code (E40) Trailer socket 7-pin, the signals for actuating the above-listed lamps on the trailer are forwarded over the interior CAN to the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit.
