General
The Service A or B to be performed appears in addition to the service displays. Service A or B may be shown on the display (A1p1) of the instrument cluster (A1) along with one of the following messages:
- "Service A in xxxx km"
- "Service B in xxxx km"
- "Service A in xxx days"
- "Service B in xxx days"
- "Perform Service A"
- "Perform Service B"
- "Service A exceeded by xxxx km"
- "Service B exceeded by xxxx km"
- "Service A exceeded by xxx days"
- "Service B exceeded by xxx days"

To this end, the respective service symbol is shown, one wrench for Service A, and 2 wrenches for Service B.

Every Service A is always followed by Service B. This computation is made automatically in the instrument cluster. In the service sheet, the displayed service A or B can be processed without calculation of the path.

The particular service scope is shown on the instrument cluster display after one of the following procedures:
- Service indicator can be called up by driver
- Automatic service indicator

Service indicator can be called up by driver
The driver can call up the service indicator using the system selection button (S111s3) and the scroll forward/back button (S111s1) on the multifunction steering wheel (MFL):
- Status "circuit 15R ON" is activated.
- Press the top or bottom part of the system selection button repeatedly until the instrument cluster display shows the "Total and trip distance" basic display. This is only necessary when the user is in another menu.
- In the "Total and trip distance" basic display, press the top or bottom part of the scroll forward/back button repeatedly until the service symbol and the current remaining distance, the remaining time or service exceeded is displayed.

Automatic service indicator
The automatic service indicator is activated when one of the following conditions is met:
- 5 s after status "circuit 15 ON" or "circuit 61 ON" was activated.
- The warning threshold for the remaining time has been reached.
- The warning threshold for the remaining distance has been exceeded.
