The instrument cluster illumination (A1) switches on automatically when the instrument cluster is activated.
With "circuit 58 ON", the instrument cluster illumination can be adjusted to meet the requirements of the individual driver by pressing the following buttons:
- Plus button (A1s3)
- Minus button (A1s4)

Set switch and controls illumination
The switch and controls illumination is activated by switching on the vehicle lights (e.g. standing lamps, driving lights).
With the standing lamps or driving lights switched on, the setting of the plus button and minus button are used as the controlled variable for adjustment of the switch and controls illumination.
