GF54.30-D-2020HL Settings On Workshop Level, Function

- except CODE (JK3) High-end instrument cluster with speedometer in km

1 Switch on ignition.
If the exceeding of the maintenance interval is shown in the display, you have to wait until the readout in the display automatically jumps over to total km. Only then is it possible to get into the service menu.

2 Press button 0 on the instrument cluster for Approx.. 30 s until a beep sounds.

Adjust workshop level in the instrument cluster (A1)
The function requirements for setting the workshop level is "circuit 15 ON", or "key in position 2".
The following steps are necessary to enter the "Workshop level" display in the display (A1p1) of the instrument cluster:
- Press and hold the reset button (A1s2) on the instrument cluster for 30 s until a short warning tone can be heard.
- Press the M button on the instrument cluster within 10 s.
- The workshop level appears on the instrument cluster display.

The M button is used to switch between the following subsystems:
- Software release and hardware status for instrument cluster
- Serial number and object number for instrument cluster
- Software object number
- Diagnosis recognition
- Engine oil level in liters
- Reset oil level
- Reset oil 229.31 /229.51
- Reset "Double /wrench symbol" (pictogram )
- Reset STOP oil
- CAN status
- Battery voltage
- Fuel level sensor resistance in ohm
- Due date of main inspection
- Due date of exhaust emissions inspection
- Dynamometer test on/off

Switch on roller test mode
With the roller test mode the wheel speeds of the driven axle are reflected in the non-driven axle. This is necessary on the brake test stand in order to ensure that no fault is entered in the ESP control unit (N30/4).
To do this, the following adjustment must be made:
- Set the workshop level in the display of the instrument cluster.
- Press the M button until dynamometer test mode "ON" appears in the display of the instrument cluster.

"ON" and "OFF" can be selected in the "Dynamometer test mode" subsystem using the M button:
- If the "ON" state is selected, the "Dynamometer test mode" system screen is displayed again after a circuit change from "circuit 15R OFF" to "circuit 15R ON" (reminder message).
- If the "OFF" state is selected, the "Base function" system with the "Trip odometer, main odometer" basic system display is shown after a circuit change from "circuit 15R OFF" to "circuit 15R ON".
