S46/11 Warm water stationary heater switch

Location
The warm water stationary heater switch is located in the lower control panel (UBF) to the left next to the steering wheel.

Task
When the warm water stationary heater switch in the upper subfield is pressed with status "circuit 15 OFF", or with status "circuit 15 ON" and "circuit 61 OFF", stationary heater (STH) operation is activated or deactivated. Activation is indicated by the red light emitting diode (LED) integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch going on. In the event of deactivation, the red LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch goes out.
When the warm water stationary heater switch in the lower subfield is operated with status "circuit 15 ON" and "circuit 61 ON", heater booster (ZUH) operation is activated or deactivated. Activation is indicated by the red LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch going on. In the event of deactivation, the red LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch goes out. The ZUH heater operation has a "Memory function" (automatic heater operation activation of the stationary heater unit).
The "Memory function" remains active (also in the event of status changes of circuit 15 and circuit 61) until it is deactivated again by operating the warm water stationary heater switch in the lower subfield.
If the STH is preprogrammed via the "Stationary heater" submenu in the instrument cluster (A1), except code (JK3) High-end instrument cluster standard with speedometer in km, this is indicated by the yellow LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch going on.
If the STH is preprogrammed via the "Heater" submenu in the instrument cluster, with code (JK3) High-end instrument cluster standard with speedometer in km, this is indicated by the yellow LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch going on.

Design
The warm water stationary heater switch is a 3-stage rocker switch, which is subdivided into an upper and a lower subfield and which is equipped with a red and a yellow LED.

Function
The actuations of the warm water stationary heater switch in the upper or lower subfield are read in by the warm water auxiliary heating control unit (N33/3) via a discrete line.

The red or yellow LED integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch is also actuated by the warm water auxiliary heating control unit via a discrete line.
