MODEL 906.611 /613 /631 /633 /635 /637 /653 /655 /657 /711 /713 /731 /733 /735
- with CODE (HZ5) 10 kW warm water auxiliary heater with timer
- with CODE (HY1) Radio remote control for auxiliary heater Stationary heater (STH)
Once the runtime t(max) = 1 h has elapsed, after the change in status from "terminal 15 ON" to "terminal 15 OFF", the change in status from "terminal 61 ON" to "terminal 61 OFF" or after the "Off" button on the stationary heater (STH) radio remote control (FFB) has been pressed, the STH heating mode or the heater booster (ZUH) heating mode of the stationary heater unit is ended via the warm water auxiliary heating control unit (N33/3).
The transmitter that is integrated into the STH FFB transmits the two-way radio signal by two-way radio to the stationary heater radio signal receiver (A49/4). The stationary heater radio signal receiver evaluates the two-way radio signal and relays the switch-off signal to the warm water auxiliary heating control unit.
The warm water auxiliary heating control unit recognizes the end of the runtime or reads in the switch-off signal from the STH FFB and then interrupts the actuation of the following components which are required for the respective heating mode of the stationary heater unit:
- Blower motor (N33/3m1) of STH combustion air blower, to supply the combustion air
- Glow pin (N33/3r1), to preheat the combustor with downpipe and to ignite the fuel
- Metering pump (M46/1), to supply the fuel
- Circulation pump (M13/4), to circulate the coolant
Similarly, the actuation of the red light emitting diode (LED) that is integrated in the warm water stationary heater switch (S46/11) is interrupted directly via a discrete line. The red LED goes out.
After the particular heating mode has been switched off, the stationary heater unit goes into the power-down mode. During the power-down, the warm water auxiliary heating control unit actuates the blower motor of the STH combustion air blower and the circulation pump again so that the combustor with downpipe of the stationary heater unit can be cooled down by the draft of air that is produced and the heat exchanger for the stationary heater unit can be cooled down by the coolant flowing past. The warm water auxiliary heating control unit places the message "STH_ON (STH switched on)" or the message "STH_ZHZ_ON (heater booster function is switched on)" on the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B) until the end of the power-down phase.
The STH FFB has a range of approx. 1 km. External influences such as radio interference, large obstructions, an unfavorable position in relation to the vehicle or using the transmitter within an enclosed room will reduce the effective range.
