1 Detach valve stem-sealings (86) with pliers (1).
2 Check surface of valve stems for roughness and ridging.

Replace valves if the stem surface is rough, or if there is ridging.

3 Fit protective sleeve (2) onto valve stem.
4 Lubricate new valve stem-sealings (86).
5 Press on new valve stem-sealings (86) with drift (3).
6 Detach protective sleeve (2).
