Sealant path for the lower oil pan (1)

The sealing surface must be oil and grease-free otherwise leaks can occur.

The retighten line (A) identifies the sealant run. Apply sealant evenly in the form of a bead (A) with a height and width of 1.5 mm (±0.5 mm) on line (A) of the lower oil pan (1). The sealing compound must be applied within 10 min.





Sealant path for the upper oil pan (2)

The sealing surface must be oil and grease-free otherwise leaks can occur.

The traced line (B) identifies the sealant run. Apply sealant evenly in the form of a bead (A) with a height and width of 1.5 mm (±0.5 mm) on line (B) of the upper oil pan (2). The sealing compound must be applied within 10 min.
