AR42.10-S-0100-01S Check Brake System For Leaks

1 After bleeding, depress the brake pedal firmly several times in order to set the correct clearance between the brake disc and the brake pad.

Check inner leaktightness

2 Fully depress brake pedal firmly. The pressure must be maintained without it being possible to depress the brake pedal further.

Check outer leaktightness

3 Firmly press the brake pedal with the engine running.

The high boost provided by the brake booster with the engine running causes the brake pedal to slowly yield further.

4 Check all connections for leaks.
5 Check and, if necessary, correct brake fluid level in brake fluid reservoir.
