Check adjuster

1 Undo adjustment screw (1) several revolutions.

The adjuster may no longer contact the brake shoe for checking.

2 Check ease of movement of the adjustment screw (1).

When turning, the adjustment screw (1 ) may only have the specified friction torque, otherwise restore movability of adjuster or replace it.





Adjust basic clearance

3 Tighten adjustment screw (1).
4 Turn back adjustment screw (1) two notches (2/3 revolution)
5 Check freedom of movement of rear wheels.
