GF80.20-D-3014H Unlock With Emergency Release, Function

GF80.20-D-3014H Unlock With Emergency Release, Function

The emergency opening function unlocks the driver door, front passenger door, left and right door (crewcab) (model 906.2), right sliding door, with code (T16) Right load compartment sliding door, or left sliding door, with code (T19) Left sliding door and rear doors (model 906.6/7) following an accident.
The following function requirements must be met:
- "Circuit 15R ON"
- Crash signal

If at least one crash signal is received from the lowline airbag control unit (N2/14) or highline airbag control unit (N2/15) the vehicle is unlocked "globally".
The following functions are disabled for approx. 10 s:
- Locking via interior central locking button (N72/1s7) in UCP control unit (N72/1)
- Locking with transmitter key (A8/1)
- Relocking function
- Automatic locking

Positive ventilation
The two front side windows are opened following an accident after reaching a threshold value (signal "front threshold 1" or higher) stored in the lowline airbag control unit or highline airbag control unit. This allows ventilation of the passenger compartment.

The emergency opening function has priority over all other central locking functions (CL).
