- with CODE (FZ5) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW])
- with CODE (FZ4) Anti-theft alarm system with interior protection and towing sensor
- with CODE (FY1) ATA 2 with interior protection, towing sensor and battery-operated horn

When an alarm is triggered by the anti-theft alarm system (ATA), the OCP control unit (N70) transmits the message "ATA_ALARM_ON (ATA alarm on)" to the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B). The rear SAM control unit (N10) reads in the message and then actuates the turn signal at intervals of t = 6 min (2 Hz ± 0.2 Hz). The OCP control unit and SAM control unit actuate the interior illumination immediately t = 6 min, continuously and undimmed.

Termination of alarm by ATA system
The alarm is interrupted when the "Unlock" transmitter button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is actuated, simultaneously the ATA system is deactivated. This is indicated by the turn signal lamp flashing once and the LED in the interior central locking button (N72/1s7) going out simultaneously.
The "Unlock" message from the EIS control unit (N73)is read in by the OCP control unit via the CAN-B.
The "ATA_ST (ATA status)" is transmitted by the OCP control unit to the UCP control unit (N72/1) via the CAN-B.
