Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that there are no fingerprints on the bonding surface (area E). To prevent adhesion problems when installing the window, keep the bonding surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive substances.

1. Cut down existing adhesive bead on body flange to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.

Do not leave more than 2 mm of the existing adhesive bead. Pull off loose parts of existing adhesive bead (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

2. Remove fabric adhesive tape from the body that was installed beforehand as protection.
