Location
The AIRmatic valve unit is a component in the AIRmatic compressor unit, which is located on a bracket behind the right bumper.

Task
The four level valves left rear, right rear, left front and right front are used to set the vehicle level.
P: To AIRmatic compressor unit
SP: To central reservoir

Function
If one of the level valves is actuated, air can be delivered by the compressor to the corresponding bellows (raise vehicle level). If by contrast when a level valve is actuated the drain valve is also actuated at the same time (when compressor switched off), then air can escape from the bellows and the vehicle level is lowered.
