AN91.12-P-0010-03RT Prepare Floor Covering For Installation of 7th Seat (center and Rear)

1 Mark installation position of threaded bolts (13) and rear mounting console (12).
Use a plastic mallet to hammer on the rear floor covering (7) until the impressions of the threaded pins (13) at the rear floor covering (7) are visible.
2 Cut open rear floor covering (7) with a knife at the impressions of the threaded bolts (13).
3 Mark area to be removed on underside of rear floor covering (7).
Push rear floor covering (7) firmly against rear mounting console (12). The area to be removed (see hatched area) stands out as an impression on the underside of the rear floor covering (7).
4 Cut out rear floor covering (7) with a knife until it is lying flat against the rear mounting console (12).
In order to make the work easier, tie back the rear floor covering (7) with a piece of string or a rubber band.
5 Screw screws/bolts M10x1 (16) included in delivery contents several turns into rear mounting console (12).
6 Fold down rear floor covering (7).
7 Feel installation position of screws/bolts M10x1 (16) through rear floor covering (7) and mark with a cross.
8 Align seat belt buckle fitting (17) with hole at left and right marks and draw outline for seat belt buckle fitting (17) cutouts on left and right of rear floor covering (7) with a piece of chalk.
Use new seat belt buckle from retrofit kit.
The tip of the seat belt buckle fitting (17) should point towards the rear.
9 Remove cutouts for seat belt buckle fitting (17) with a sharp knife.
10 Remove bolts M10x1 (16).

11 Mark installation position of threaded bolts (19) on front mounting console (18).
Use a plastic mallet to hammer on the center floor covering (6) until the impressions of the threaded pins (19) at the center floor covering (6) are visible.
12 Cut open center floor covering (6) with a knife at the impressions of the threaded bolts (19).
13 Mark area to be removed on underside of center floor covering (6).
Push center floor covering (6) firmly against rear mounting console (18). The area to be removed (see hatched area) stands out as an impression on the underside of the center floor covering (6).
14 Cut out center floor covering (6) with a knife until it is lying flat against the front mounting console (18).
In order to make the work on the center floor covering (6) easier, support it on suitable crates, for example.
15 Fold back center floor covering (6) and rear floor covering (7), place on front mounting console (18) and rear mounting console and align on floor of vehicle.
16 Position 7th seat (1) on front mounting console and rear mounting console with aid of helper.
17 Use a piece of chalk to mark the front and rear outlines (22) of the base plate (21) of the 7th seat (1) on the center (6) and rear floor covering (7).
18 Make cutouts (arrows) for base plate (21) in center (6) and rear floor covering (7) using a knife.
Make cuts about 5 mm inside the marked outlines (22), otherwise the cutouts (arrows) may be visible after the 7th seat (1) has been installed. The base plate (21) of the 7th seat (1) must subsequently lie properly against the front and rear mounting consoles, otherwise the 7th seat (1) will not be able to be bolted down properly later.
19 Remove 7th seat (1) from vehicle with aid of helper.
20 Clean vehicle floor, center floor covering (6) and rear floor covering (7).
