GF77.20-P-3007RT Panoramic Sliding Roof Lock-Up Recognition, Function
- with CODE (413) Panoramic sliding roof
- up to model year 08

Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition function
The overhead control panel control unit (N70) receives the Hall sensor pulses from the panoramic sliding roof motor (M12/6m1), the panoramic sliding roof motor (M12/7m1) and the roller sun blind motor (M12/5m1).

Hall sensor location:
^ Hall sensor 1, roller sun blind (M12/5b1)
^ Hall sensor 2, roller sun blind (M12/5b2)
^ Hall sensor 1, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6b1)
^ Hall sensor 2, panoramic sliding roof (M12/6b2)
^ Hall sensor 3, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7b1)
^ Hall sensor 4, panoramic sliding roof (M12/7b2)

If no Hall sensors pulses are received for more than t = 320 ms +0,01 s, during panoramic sliding roof or roller sun blind actuation, the drive is switched off.

Interruption of sequence
If one of the Hall sensors fail, the panoramic sliding roof is denormalized, i.e. the position of the panoramic sliding roof is not known In the event of denormalization, the panoramic sliding roof can only be closed in increments of t = 320 ms with the roof switch (N70s1).
Denormalization also occurs if the panoramic sliding roof is obstructed during tilting.

Overload protection of the panoramic sliding roof is provided by a temperature protection switch.
