GF77.20-P-2002RT Close Tilting/Sliding Roof Function
GF77.20-P-2002RT Close Tilting/Sliding Roof Function
- with CODE (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
- up to model year 08
Manually closing with roof switch (N70s1)
Function requirements
^ Circuit 15 "ON"
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ 5 min. after circuit 15 "OFF", with front doors not yet opened (delay time) and vehicle not locked from outside
^ The overhead control panel control unit (N70) recognizes the non-actuated state before the roof switch is actuated (roof switch not actuated for longer than 40 ms ±10 ms).
Function
The status of the EIS control unit is transmitted to the overhead control panel control unit via the passenger compartment CAN bus.N73. An adjustment request for the SR motor (M12m1) via the roof switch is only accomplished, when circuit 15 "ON" is recognized on the EIS control unit. When the roof switch is pressed toward front to the 1st catch, adjustment is performed until the desired position is reached or the end stop is actuated.
Obstruction sensor is not effective during manual adjustment
The "Open sliding roof" function is limited in the denormalized state, actuation is only possible for a short time. Release and then press switch again to reactuate
Automatically locking with roof switch
Function requirements
^ Circuit 15 "ON"
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ 5 min. after terminal 15 "OFF", with front doors not yet opened (delay time) and vehicle not locked from outside
^ The overhead control panel control unit recognizes the non-actuated state before the roof switch is actuated (roof switch not actuated for longer than 40 ms ±10 ms).
^ Tilting/sliding roof normalized
Function
The status of the EIS control unit is transmitted to the overhead control panel control unit via CAN interior. An adjustment request for the SR motor via the roof switch is only accomplished, when circuit 15 "ON" is recognized on the EIS control unit. When the roof switch is pressed once toward front to the 2nd catch point, the tilting/sliding roof is actuated automatically according to the actuation direction. Actuation of the adjustment motor for the tilting/sliding roof is completed when the end position is reached.
The obstruction sensor is always effective on automatic locking operations.
The automatic function is interrupted when the roof switch is pressed again.
Closing with air recirculation switch (N22/7s2) or air recirculation switch (N22s2)
Function requirements
^ Circuit 15 "ON"
^ AC switched on.
^ Air recirculation switch actuated for t > 1 s
^ SR, window normalized and without active switch actuation
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ Previously opening tilting/sliding roof via recirculated air switch
Aborting the function
^ Circuit 15 "OFF"
^ Tilting/sliding roof denormalization
^ Roof switch actuation
^ Lock-up detection
^ CAN message not present.
^ Actuation of the excess force limitation
Function
When the air recirculation switch is pressed for t > 1 s, the adjustment request in the "Closing" direction is transmitted via the AAC control and operating unit (N22) or convenience AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) as CAN message to the left front door control unit (N69/1), right front door control unit (N69/2) and front SAM control unit (N10) for actuating the right rear power window motor (M10/6), left rear power window motor (M10/5) as well as to the overhead control panel control unit. When the "Closing" message is received via the recirculated air switch, the tilting/sliding roof and the front and rear door windows as well as the vent windows are actuated in the "Closing" direction until the end position is reached. The excess force limiter for the SR, the power windows and the vent windows are activated. If "Opening" is started with the air recirculation switch before reaching the end position during a closing operation, the opening position stored initially remains stored The windows and the SR are actuated with a time offset of 80 ms to prevent excessive current surges in the electrical system.
Closing with transmitter key (A8/1) only without Keyless Go, code 889
Function requirements
^ Circuit 15C, circuit 15R and circuit 15 "OFF"
^ No undervoltage or overvoltage
^ All doors closed
^ Valid transmitter key
^ Normalized tilting/sliding roof
Abort conditions
^ Function requirements are not satisfied
^ Lock-up recognition of drive
^ Actuation request rescinded
^ CAN message not present.
^ Denormalization of tilting/sliding roof
Function
If the "Lock" button on the transmitter key is pressed for a longer period of time, the left front IR receiver (A26/1) transmits the closing request to the corresponding front door control unit.
The right front IR receiver (A26/2) is only installed on vehicles with maximum equipment in the Japanese version.
The EIS control unit signals its status to the door control units and to the overhead control panel control unit. The EIS control unit continues to signal the status to the front SAM control unit which then actuates the rear power window motors. When the key is removed, the power windows and the SR motor are actuated moving them to the end stop. On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889, closing is only possible via the buttons on the door handle on the driver and passenger door.
Convenience closing can also be accomplished on non-normalized windows. This is no longer possible if the tilting/sliding roof is denormalized. The excess force limiter of the SR and the power windows are not activated. The individual windows and the SR are actuated with a time offset of 80 ms to prevent excessive current surges in the electrical system.
If the "Lock/unlock" button on the transmitter key is released during the convenience closing/opening function, the function is stopped immediately.A new command can only be accomplished after checking the function prerequisites.
